Black Eyed Peas Just topped Everyone You Like.

The Black Eyed Peas Make History with the
Longest Successive stay at Top of the Billboard Hot 100 Chart

Now of course chart position doesn’t equate to great music; but one thing’s for sure, the more folks hate will.i.am and his fam, the more they seem to keep it movin. And now, thanks to the bangers “Boom Boom Pow” and “I Gotta Feeling” the BEP crew has put together the longest reign in Billboard Hot 100 history—20 weeks in a row. That includes Jay-Z, Michael Jackson, Elvis, the Beatles, Madonna... Everybody you ever liked or respected, the BlackEyed Peas just put together a run that's longer than theirs.

Let the gag reflexes begin. Oh yeah... that icky stuff you’re re-swallowing on the way back down just might be your pride. Sooner or later these cats will have to get their due.

I don’t know about you, but the only thing I’ve ever done for 20 weeks straight is gain weight.  Now I don’t profess to be some great BEP apologist—I kinda lost interest after Esthero left. But one thing’s for sure: they make catchy music and will.i.am’s one a hell of a producer. And unlike most of what passes for hiphop or urban music these days, I wouldn’t mind my little ones listening to their stuff. (Most of their stuff anyway.)

So congrats to the 3 men and the little lady. Keep doin' what u do.
